Return & Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident when shopping at avaler silicone molds. Because our silicone molds are handmade and intended for food use, our return and refund policy is slightly different from standard retail items. Please read the guidelines below carefully before making a purchase.
Returns
Due to health, hygiene, and product-safety regulations, we cannot accept returns or cancellations for change of mind, and we cannot accept items that have been opened or handled in any way. Once a silicone mold has been shipped, all sales are considered final unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
If your item is damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@avalermolds.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- A brief description
We will review your request and provide next steps.
Please do not send any items back. Items returned will not be accepted.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the product is damaged in transit, defective, or not the item you ordered, reach out to us immediately.
Because our packaging is transparent, items can be visually inspected without opening the package. We kindly ask customers not to open or use the mold before confirming that the item is correct or undamaged.
Opened or used molds cannot be refunded or replaced.
We will evaluate the issue and offer a replacement or a refund.
Exceptions / Non-Refundable Items
Because our products come into contact with food and are handmade in small batches, the following cannot be returned:
- Silicone molds that have been opened, handled, or removed from their packaging
- Molds purchased by mistake or due to change of mind
- Custom silicone molds (personalized or made-to-order items)
- Sale items or gift cards
These policies help us maintain food-safe handling and protect our small business from return misuse.

Product Care & Storage Responsibility No refunds, credits, or replacements will be issued for products damaged due to improper use, neglect, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow our care instructions. This includes, but is not limited to: exposure to extreme heat (such as direct flames), cuts from sharp objects, use of abrasive cleaners, or mold deformation caused by improper storage. It is the customer's responsibility to review the Care & Use Instructions provided on our website before first use.
Handmade Characteristics: Please note that all our molds are handmade. Minor cosmetic imperfections on the exterior of the mold (such as tiny air bubbles or slight surface variations) are a natural part of the handmade process and do not affect the internal casting or the final product's shape. These are not considered defects and do not qualify for a refund or replacement.
International Orders & Customs: For orders shipped to the United States up to $800 USD, customs duties are prepaid by us (DDP). However, for all other international destinations, or US orders exceeding $800 USD, all customs duties, taxes, and tariffs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please note that if a delivery is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid fees (where applicable), the order is not eligible for a refund of the product or shipping costs.
Exchanges
Because we do not accept returns for change of mind, we are unable to offer exchanges at this time. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will replace it with the same item or issue a refund.
Refunds
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. Once we review and confirm the issue, you can choose either a replacement sent to you at no cost, or a refund for the affected product.
If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

Unclaimed Packages: Original shipping fees are non-refundable for packages that are returned to us because they were not collected by the recipient or if an incorrect address was provided.
