Helpful Details:
Is this mold suitable for beginners?
Yes. This mold is designed to help both beginners and experienced decorators
create detailed 3D pieces more easily than hand-sculpting.
Can I use just one half of the mold?
In many cases, yes. Because this is a 2-part mold, you can often use one half on its own
if you want a flat decoration instead of a full 3D figure.
How do I get a clean release from the mold?
For best results, make sure the material is fully set before unmolding.
With chocolate, chilling briefly can help.
With fondant, a light dusting of cornstarch or a very thin layer of white shortening may make release easier.
What is the best way to assemble the final piece?
For 2-part fondant designs, place the mold in the freezer for 10-15 minutes,
unmold and the two sides can usually be joined with a little water or edible glue.
